At-Large Board Member (up to 3)

As an At-Large Board Member, you’ll be part of the team that helps guide the region’s direction and decisions. You’ll be invited to the monthly Board Meetings to share your perspective, support key initiatives, and assist with projects as needed. This is a flexible role where you can contribute based on your skills and interests. If you enjoy collaboration and making a positive impact, this is a great way to get involved.

Social Media Coordinator

As the Social Media Coordinator, you’ll work with our Director of Communications and our volunteer photographers to help manage and grow the region’s online presence. You’ll create and share content that highlights programs, events, and community engagement. This role ensures families stay informed and connected throughout the season. If you enjoy communication and creativity, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

Photographer

As the Photographer, you’ll help capture the moments that make the season memorable for players and families. You’ll take photos at games, events, and regional activities to highlight the AYSO experience. You even get a cool t-shirt that identifies you as a Region 13 photgrapher! This role supports the region’s communications, social media, and community engagement efforts. If you enjoy photography and storytelling, this is a creative and rewarding way to contribute.

Grants & Sponsors

As the Grants & Sponsors lead, you’ll help secure resources that support the region’s programs. You’ll build relationships with local businesses, sponsors, and community partners. Every year we apply for about a dozen grants and work with a similar number of interested sponsors. This role includes identifying these opportunities and coordinating outreach efforts. If you enjoy relationship-building and strategic thinking, this is a rewarding way to contribute.

Google Workspace Admin

As the Google Workspace Admin, you’ll support the region’s digital infrastructure and collaboration tools. You’ll manage accounts, permissions, and shared resources for board members and volunteers. This includes Google Docs as well as a slew of other online tools, such as Zoom, Jotform, and SignUp Genius. This role helps ensure information is organized, secure, and accessible. If you’re comfortable with technology and enjoy supporting others, this is a valuable role on the team.

Uniform Coordinator

As the Uniform Coordinator, you’ll ensure players receive their uniforms accurately and on time. You’ll oversee ordering, organization, and distribution to teams. You will also ensure that we keep an adequate stock of coach equipment, including items such as practice cones and first aid kits. This role works closely with coaches to keep the process efficient and well-coordinated. If you’re organized and enjoy supporting player readiness, this is a great fit. Co-management of this role is encouraged.

Field Manager

As the Field Manager, you’ll help ensure our game fields are safe, prepared, and ready for play. You’ll coordinate setup, lining, and ongoing maintenance needs, as well as ensure that equipment, such as corner flags, is available at the fields. This role supports a smooth and positive game-day experience for players and families. If you enjoy hands-on work and being part of operations, this is a great way to contribute.

NWSL/MLS Liaison

As the NWSL/MLS Liaison, you’ll help connect the region with the broader soccer community. You’ll coordinate opportunities such as events, ticket programs, and special experiences. This role brings added value and excitement to players and families. If you enjoy partnerships and community engagement, this is a fun and impactful role.
